Mixed Media Demonstration – Acrylic Paint and Collage

Eight-step demo of a giraffe painting on a collaged ground of tissue, music pages and public-domain images set in matte medium and soft gel. Texture is stamped in with cork, gridded plastic, gauze and skeleton leaves, then the subject is drawn in white and built up with acrylic glazes, using gesso to knock back unwanted colour.
