Art Lesson w/ Ms. Jennifer: René Magritte

About this lesson

An at-home museum lesson recreating Magritte's 'object breaking through a surface' device: paint a night sky, paint a separate daytime landscape, cut a dove shape from the night-sky sheet, then glue it onto the landscape so it appears to punch through into a different reality.
