A working artist's process post exploring Fauvism first-hand: oil pastel studies worked in sections to keep colours from merging, followed by acrylic landscape experiments combining wet-on-wet, dry brush, object printing, scraping and palette-knife impasto, made in direct response to Matisse, Derain and Vlaminck.
