Acrylic Painting Tutorial – Iris

Demonstrates an iris painting built on a dilute acrylic wash, then covered with a thick layer of matte medium that stays workable while fluid acrylics are painted into it. A rubber-tipped color shaper dipped in paint draws lines and scrapes through to earlier layers (sgraffito), and misting with water keeps edges soft.
