About this lesson

Explains Twombly's mark-making vocabulary (scribbling, layering, erasing, dripping, scratching with oil-based house paint, wax crayon and unconventional tools) and includes a hands-on 'Twombly-inspired mark-making exercise': work fast, scribble, slow down, pause, drip, smudge, and layer with erasure.
