Gestural and Action Painting: Abstract Art Project (Project III of III)

About this lesson

A regional gallery's eight-step take-home activity: cover paper in flicked, dripped and swept gestural acrylic marks, then apply that experimentation to a work in progress by masking off areas with torn-paper stencils, embedding hessian and tissue paper for texture, and repeating layers with drying time between coats.
