A working painter documents her first gel plate sessions: rolling out acrylic with a brayer, pulling prints and ghost prints, making marks with bubble wrap, bottle caps, stamps and stencils, and printing on maps and sheet music. She then layers the prints into mixed-media backgrounds and a journal cover.
