How to Paint Like Kandinsky

About this lesson

Tate's step-by-step guide to painting an abstract work in the spirit of Kandinsky's Cossacks: sketch from a chosen source photo, lay in diluted pale colour as a base, build a second colour layer, add bold thinned-black outlines, then work each colour individually in layers before finishing with white highlights.
