Portraits inspired by Expressionism

About this lesson

A school project where students look at Munch and the Die Brucke painters, then rework black-and-white photocopied portraits with oil pastel: non-naturalistic colour on faces and backgrounds, angular shapes and heavy black contour lines to push emotional distortion.
