About this lesson
A 5-week self-study course in expressive mixed-media portraiture: it opens with embodied mark-making (brayers, palette knives, etching tools) and colour-mixing theory, then walks through five full portrait demonstrations built on bold, non-naturalistic colour, high-contrast dramatic brushwork and intuitive backgrounds.
